In 2023, New Jersey had a higher high school graduation rate (90.7%) than the nation as a whole (89.8%).

What Is Being Done?

The New Jersey Department of Education supports schools, educators, and districts to ensure all New Jersey students have equitable access to high quality education and achieve academic excellence.

The New Jersey Office of the Secretary of Higher Education works to ensure that all full and part-time students have access to a high-quality higher education.
