Why Is This Important?
Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) is a type of cancer that starts in early forms of certain white blood cells (called lymphocytes) in the bone marrow. It is is one the most common types of leukemia in adults.

During 2021, 413 New Jersey males and 279 females of all ages were diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
