Actual suicide attempts among high school students in the 12 months prior to survey, regardless of whether medical attention was required

How the Measure is Calculated
Numerator: | Respondents who answered one or more times to the question: "During the past 12 months, how many times did you actually attempt suicide?" |
Denominator: | Total number of survey respondents in grades 9-12 |
How Are We Doing?
Healthy New Jersey 2020 targets were met for the total population and the Hispanic population, but not among Whites or Blacks. No target was set for Asians due to sample size issues.
