Monthly marriage counts and annual civil union and domestic partnership counts by county of occurrence for 2000 to the present:

Detailed marriage and divorce data for 1877-2000 are available in the discontinued New Jersey Health Statistics report series.

Certificates and Decrees

Certificates of Marriage, Civil Union, and Domestic Partnership are vital records and are recorded and maintained by the New Jersey Department of Health's Office of Vital Statistics and Registry. Requirements and applications are available on that office's website.
New Jersey divorce decrees are available through the Superior Court Clerk's Office.
