What's New in NJSHAD Version 3

On June 11, 2024, we released the current version of NJSHAD, adapted from NM-IBIS version 3. While countless changes were made on the back-end, here's what's new for you, the end user.

Updated "look and feel" throughout the site
Single menu across the top for ease of navigation
Social media, email, and print share buttons on every page
Lots of new pop-up help text

Community Profiles

New communities added for disability status, educational attainment level, poverty status, and sex
Change communities or indicator sets right on the profile page. No more separate selection page.
Indicator definitions moved to info pop-ups to unclutter the profiles
Sortable columns

Indicator Reports

New views added to many reports
Eight new reports added
More ways to search reports: by data view, data source, DOH program, or publication date
Fully sortable and filterable report index
Export to Excel button for data tables
Navigation links across the top of each report
Link to associated Health Topic page(s)
